To make this sauce you will need to start off with 2 28 oz.. cans of Italian plum tomatoes , 6 oz. of Absolut Vodka, 1 white onion quartered, 3 tablespoons of pesto sauce 1/2 pint cream, two teaspoons of Italian crushed red peppers, salt to taste. This sauce should be cooked for some time to let the spices and the alcohol to create the taste you want. This sauce is best served over fresh pasta noodles, or tubular pasta such as penne rigate, Ziti rigati or my favorite Cavatappi. The recipe can also use fresh fettucini or the classic penne with vodka cream sauce.

- 6 oz. Absolut Vodka
- 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
- 1 medium onion chopped fine
- 5 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons pesto sauce
- 1/2 pint whole cream
- 1/2 teaspoons of Italian crushed red peppers
- salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

In a small stock pot add 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, and bring to high heat. Add the 2 tablespoons pesto sauce. Fry the pesto in the oil and add 6 oz. Absolut Vodka to the stock pot.
